An intimate space for somatic practice in community to support you in connecting to yourself and purpose while moving through changes this fall: new political leadership, relationship, school year, move, job, or simply the turning of the season.

Finding our way back under pressure

When change or transitions happen in our personal lives or the collective, we often feel more pressure and stress. In this drop-in series, you'll get somatic support for how to ground and re-center, stay open and present, and find resilience to stay in the process for the sake of what's important to you.

What you can expect:

  • Ample time for pauses, reflection, and overall a slower pace

  • Permission and options for making each practice your own, showing up as you are, ensuring your needs are met

  • Responsiveness to what emerges in each session to pivot as needed to meet the moment of the group

Cost:

Sliding scale $15-45 per session

What others are saying about group spaces:

“Em has created a wonderful space where people can be vulnerable and guided by personal truths." - KW

“Em created an environment that made it possible to deeply tap in to myself. They facilitated an experience that helped me name and prioritize the things that would help me return to center despite the chaos that we’re constantly bombarded with.”

- Moji

Q + A

Is previous somatic experience required?

No, the space will be held in a way for everyone to deepen in practice, including people with no prior experience and those who have a long history of somatic practice.

What will the sessions be like?

Each session will start with opening practices to drop into our bodies and arrive in space together. We’ll have a check in to share how we’re showing up and access needs. Then we’ll work with 1-2 somatic practices to explore the session theme. We’ll debrief each with personal reflection and partner or group reflection. Then we’ll close the space.

Can I join for just one or two sessions?

Yes, you're welcome to join for one, two, or all three sessions. Each session is designed to be stand-alone, but the session themes are intended to be complementary for navigating change.

Is this a training?

No, these sessions are not intended to train participants to facilitate or guide somatic practices with others. Instead, they are meant to be supportive for you in your own practice, even though they may (hopefully) inform how you show up in group and collective spaces, such as in your home, workplace, and community.
